A rundown surfboard that was found in a trash container in front of her home was instrumental in helping Ashley win a contest aged six. When she was sixteen, Ashley participated in the NSSA National championship. She took home the Triple Crown award for the Rookie the Year in 2003. Ashley also took home titles, which included two National Scholastic Surfing Association championships as well as the Professional Surfing Tour of America championship. Ashley won the Pipeline Women's Pro 2010 in Hawaii. Ashley was ranked 59th place at the Women's Qualification Series 2014. Anastasia Ashley posed as a model for Sport Illustrated Magazine and Maxim Magazine. The year 2014 was the time that Anastasia Ashley created her Gypsy Jet Set collection in cooperation with OK1984.
